KENNEL TECHNICIANS (Part-Time)

The primary function of the Kennel Technician is maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Job duties include handling, training, care, feeding and cleaning of kennel areas. Applicants must be physically active, reliable, compassionate and willing to learn.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (others may be assigned):
-Provide adequate food and water to shelter animals
-Monitor animals and immediately report health or behavior abnormalities
-Perform animal bathing and basic grooming
-Assist with animal intake, evaluation and treatment
-Create and maintain necessary animal records, perform data entry into Shelter Buddy
-Walk dogs and rotate to outside play areas
-Administer oral medication and give vaccinations to animals

ADOPTION CENTER TECHNICIAN (Full-Time & Part-Time)

The primary functions of the Adoption Center Technician are:  assisting the public with the adoption process, providing excellent customer service to all visitors, volunteers, and staff, maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Job duties include but are not limited to: handling, care, feeding and medicating of animals and thorough cleaning of all kennel areas. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently. Applicants must be physically active, able to lift 50 pounds, reliable, compassionate to people and animals, able to laugh and willing to learn. You must have reliable transportation and a clean, valid driver’s license. We are open 6 days a week including holidays and weekends and team members must be willing to commit to a flexible schedule.
