Join the HEY! Reading Team! Reading to animals is proven to boost literacy rates in students. Animals have a unique way of eliminating stress associated with reading aloud, and, in turn, boosts confidence in reading. It is also great socialization for a scared, nervous shelter friend. For this program, one registered guardian must accompany the student during their reading time.
