At the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, we operate a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. We offer low-cost spay/neuter surgery to the public, shelters and rescues by appointment only.  We also offer vaccines, heartworm testing, feline FIV/FeLV testing, microchips, and nail trims.   Pet medications are sold at a reduced rate and heartworm preventative is sold to current clients with a yearly negative heartworm test

The Spay/Neuter Clinic at the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley is not a full service veterinary clinic. Please see your Veterinarian for a yearly exam, laboratory services and health related issues with your companion animal.

For after hours emergencies, please call your regular full service Veterinarian or your nearest animal emergency clinic:  Animal Emergency & Specialty Center at (865) 693-4440 or Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic (865)637-0114.

Effective 8/31/18, in order for your pet to participate in our low cost vaccine clinics, she or he must be spayed or neutered.  Puppies and kittens may be spayed or neutered at the completion of their puppy/kitten vaccine series or anytime during.  Our mission at HSTV is to stop the euthanasia of adoptable animals and the only way to reach that goal is to prevent unwanted and unexpected litters and to encourage adoption of shelter pets. If you are unable to afford the fees associated with surgery please speak to us about available options.
