Like so many other animal shelters around the country, we are closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The health and safety of our staff, shelter animals, volunteers and the community is our top priority!  At this time, masks will be optional at Humane Society, Tennessee Valley. Some of our staff will continue to wear masks and some will not, some of our guests will continue to wear masks and some will not. We respect everyone's choice to do what makes them feel most comfortable. Humane Society, Tennessee Valley will not ask our guests their vaccination status but our expectation is that if you are not vaccinated you will wear a mask. And, we kindly ask that our guests respect our staff's personal choices as well. Thank you, as always, for your support.

Please check our Contact Us page for updated days of operation and our holiday schedule.
