Pet Food Pantry

Pet Food Pantry Program

Our Pet Food Pantry helps keep Pets and People Together! We host a Pet Food Pantry out of our Knoxville shelter location at 6717 Kingston Pike on the following dates. Please remember to check this website for cancellations and date changes. We rely on our community to donate food to support this program and unfortunately, we do not always have food to distribute.

Saturday, July 27th    11AM – 1PM

Saturday, August 24th  11AM – 1PM

We serve anyone with a pet need in our region. Bring a government issued Photo ID, proof of income and proof of ownership for your pets and we will give you food that supplements what you can afford to buy on your own. After your first visit, we ask that you bring proof of spay or neuter for each of your pets.

Please consider supporting our Pet Food Pantry by making a donation today.  Our biggest need is often for cats in home but a $25 donation today will provide a small bag of food and litter for a cat or some dry dog food for the pet owner who is struggling to keep their pet in their home.  Your monthly donation to this program ensures that all companion animals in need have full bellies when they rest their head at the end of the night. If you prefer to drop off a donation our Pet Help/Clinic patio is covered and checked daily for donations.   Food, litter, and treats are protected from the elements.  We welcome gently used bowls, beds, litter boxes, leashes, collars and new toys (for sanitary purposes) too.  Or, if you make a donation we will make sure that it goes directly to the support of the Pet Help Program and the items we need to keep this program running and our community provided for when they find themselves in need.

We are proud to be helping keep Pets and People Together through our Pet Food Pantry!  For the more fortunate, who don’t need assistance, please consider donating and we will go and buy the items for you or drop off food, treats or litter outside our Pet Help entrance anytime.  Need more info?  Just email us by clicking here.  Thank you for helping to keep families and their pets together!

Flea, Tick, and Heartworm

Flea and Tick products are sold at our Wellness Clinic, on Clinic days only, and our Adoption Center during normal business hours.  Heartworm Preventative is only sold to individuals with proof of purchase of heartworm preventative in the last 30 days or proof of a negative heartworm test in the last 30 days.  All other animals are required to schedule an appointment at our Wellness Clinic for a heartworm test, and have a negative result, in order to purchase the product from us.  If you have questions or need an appointment, please email our PetHelp team [email protected]
