KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – For this episode of Pet of the Week the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley shares Cholula. Although her namesake is spicy, she is the sweetest girl that you will ever meet.

Cholula is still a puppy herself but has had quite the life, having a litter of puppies already. But luckily the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley was able to find homes for all of Cholula’s puppies, now it is time to find this young momma her forever home. Although Cholula is named after a hot sauce, her personality is anything but spicy. She loves to play and be showered with attention but most of all she wants to sit in your lap and be close to her human family.

There are a lot of ways to support your local animal support center – Donations, volunteering, and fostering are the areas of most need but with the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley there are a multitude of ways for you to help the furry friends in our community here in East Tennessee, including taking the shelter animals on hikes! Nicki, our pet of the week, is a 2 year old female that is beautiful and already knows a variety of commands and tricks. She is up to date on all of her shots and ready to spend her days going on hikes and snuggling with you on the couch.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – For our Pet of the Week, Wally the kitten from the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley wins all of our hearts.

The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley has not had many cats for the past few weeks due to finding homes for all of them, but now have multiple cats and kittens available for adoption. This includes Wally the Wonder Kitten who enjoys a good snuggle and falling asleep in your arms. But if adoption is not right for you, there are many ways that you can help support the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley’s efforts. You can donate through their website, volunteer in a wide variety of ways, or purchase an extra cat bed or two to give their rescues a comfortable place to sleep while they await their forever home.
