Celebrating Dr. Dee: A Key Part of Our Future at HSTV
We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news, our very own Dr. Dee has been featured in the University of Florida’s Shelter Medicine Program article about their mentorship initiative! You can read the full story here.
At The Humane Society of Tennessee Valley, we have always known how special Dr. Dee is. Her dedication, compassion, and expertise elevate the care we provide for every animal who walks through our doors. She doesn’t just heal, she inspires.
As a participant in the mentorship program, Dr. Dee gained valuable experience and skills that she brought back to HSTV. After several years without a veterinarian on staff, she stepped into a leadership role, overhauling and revitalizing our veterinary suite. Thanks to her hard work, we are once again able to provide critical medical care to the animals who rely on us.
Her unwavering commitment to best practices in shelter medicine, and her daily impact on the lives of our animals, make her an irreplaceable asset to our team. Her work reminds us why we do what we do, and her leadership helps ensure that we continue to grow, save lives, and make a difference for many more years to come.
We couldn’t be prouder to have Dr. Dee on our team. Congratulations, Dr. Dee, and thank you for everything you do!
